Originally from Pittsfield, Illinois, Rick Frazier has resided in Springfield since 1986. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Eastern Illinois University in 1983. Mr. Frazier went on to earn his law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1986. At SUI-C, he served as an assistant to Professor Harold W. Hannah.
After completion of his law degree, Mr. Frazier was an attorney for the Office of the State Appellate Defender until 1989. Following his tenor with the Office of the State Appellate Defender, Mr. Frazier joined the law firm of Metnick & Barewin and was named partner in 1995. That firm has evolved into the current named partnership.
Along with representing individual clients in personal injury, family law matters, general and civil litigation, and felony and misdemeanor criminal charges, Mr. Frazier also handles a wide range of other legal cases.
